Veda, in ancient Sanskrit, means “knowledge”. The Vedas are oldest sacred texts, written five thousand years ago, they belong to the richest cultural tradition of ancient India and they have been inscribed on Unesco’s Memory of the World Register. These venerable books of authentic wisdom, collect the teachings about philosophy, spirituality, medicine, architecture, agriculture, martial arts, cooking, dancing and anything needed to reach our full potential as human beings.
Where to find us
The VedaVita Art Studio is right at the heart of the old Trastevere district, on its most ancient and picturesque side of this neighborhood, where medieval remains, roman hypogeums of greatest archaeological interest and places of worship filled with marvelous treasures can be found.
The Basilica of Saint Cecilia is at walking distance, at some 300 feet (or 100 meters) there is the Jewish Ghetto with its Synagogue, and at the center of this ground, as an ideal fulchrum of spirituality and tension to transformation, there is the Tiberina Island.
VedaVita gracefully ties in with the spiritual nature of the surroundings and wishes to be a source of inspiration to whoever is seeking a higher self in these times of dismay.
